The People of Morocco
Saharan Berber - live mainly in a number of oases in the Sahara Desert. They call themselves Imazighen which means "man of noble origin." Most Berbers farm or breed cattle, however many of them are also skilled in various crafts such as pottery, woodworking and needlework.
Moor - are people who speak the Hassaniya dialect of Arabic. They used to be nomadic, but many have settled in urban areas. They still herd camels or cattle and many are farmers. Music and poetry are very important to them. They like to serve tea at festivals and celebrations.
Southern Shilha - live in and around the Atlas and Anti Atlas Mountains. They value hard work. Most of them farm or raise livestock. Their language is Tachelhit.
