Événements Festival in Marrakech
On the occasion of the W Space week that celebrates the world of science the universe, Astronomy Festival of Marrakech offer, for the 13th consecutive year, a series of activities to discover and disseminate pleasures of astronomy.
Over the years, the festival has managed to establish itself as one of the leading rendezvous of scientific culture in the Kingdom. Co-organized by the Faculty of Semlalia, Amateur Astronomy Association of Marrakech, the Regional Academy of Education and Training, the French research institutes, IFM, and since 2009 by the Centre Cultural Atlas Golf Marrakech, he has loyal fans like astronomy beginners. The year 2012 was rich in astronomy Moroccan and global we include in particular new findings across Morocco, with the discovery of two asteroids geo-cruisers and two comets Observatory Oukaïmeden, and internationally, sending by NASA on the planet Mars Curiosity robot. The central theme of this edition is entitled "explore the universe." So many events and activities such as public lectures, observing nights at the Cultural Center of the AGM and the stars at night Oukaïmeden, will be offered to a curious public to understand the universe in which we belong. This festival is also marked by the presence of many eminent Moroccan and French for stimulating discussion and to share their passion for the stars and their mysteries.

At the observatory Oukaïmeden and throughout the week in various astronomical animation schools and colleges by the animators 3Am and RAAM.
